The chess is a good point.  I always thought it was kinda interesting that Ron's the best one of the trio at chess.  As LovelyNancy points out, he's good with the practical stuff.  He's very intuitive, which I guess makes a good balance against Hermione (I made myself sad saying that.), since her favorite way to find value

Thanks for the update, Anne.  Little Liam's been in my thoughts and prayers, and I popped back here just to see if there'd been any news.  I guess it's better that they wait for optimal conditions.  Hope those few extra days make a difference for the better.  Bless, Liam, you've got a lot of people in your corner.
