OMG !!!  Pumkin pie recipies sound delish...we have our turkey day the end of Nov.  in the states.  For some stupid reason we believe we must not make the pie until then.  After viewing this thread I might just jump the gun.  Thanks for all the recipe ideas !

Thank you so much for the heads up on the Brewers Fest.  Did not know other events would affect hotels....We'll book something today...Thinking the Regency for walking distance or HJ's to save a few $$$.What do you think ?

Can't wait until Nov 1 !!  We havn't seen a concert in a while.. We New Enlanders have been sooo spoiled in recent years.  Last year we caught three out of probably 5 or 6.  We will probably get to town early afternoon to explore a bit....We are looking for a room, but hav'nt decided where yet

We are looking for a place to stay.  Anyone stayed in Portland ??? There are a few hotels within walking distance.  Portland Regency looks neat but pricey..... 

Just Finished ''Into the Wild'' in record time......had to read the book before I see the movie.  Awesome book  !!!
