Columbine:Summer in Boston today (yesterday too) but we're going back to Spring for the weekend.  So far we've had superb luck in New England, except for one barn in Sunderland that got picked up and thrown in the road by a tornado.  In Massachusetts.  I just hope it doesn't start raining fish!  (I don't have one

I survived the week and passed at least one of the projects. I won't know about the other until the end of the semester, I think, but they seemed pleased with my work and my willingness to work around my tendonitis rather than just whine that I couldn't do anything. Actually, as much of a pain it is (literally and figuratively), it's done some ...

squeezeboxsarah:(Edit: I found this one too, and thought you might appreciate it.)  Yeah, that would have felt good, too. What I did do was go over her head to the professor, who said that I could go to the other mandatory meeting, since I was only needed at specific times and there was a break of over an hour between those times. I'll stick with hot chocolate- booze makes me sick. But I'll drink extra hot chocolate to make up for it!

National Student Exchange- apparently Canada is considered part of the US. Don't ask me, I didn't organize it! I needed two references- one from my advisor, one from a faculty member. That went pretty quickly, since my advisor is very much in favor and my theater professor is also my boss, and the only reason she might not want me to go is ...

  • Re: The George Street Café

So I've been looking into spending a semester in Canada. Specifically, Eastern Canada. Friday I talked to the woman in charge of the program and started the paperwork. Then I had to wait until today to speak to my adviser because of scheduling difficulties. When I sat down to talk to her and told her what I was doing, she practically bounced ...

That vice-principal sounds like an anal-retentive git with megalomaniacal tendencies. His name wouldn't happen to be John Mullen, by any chance?
