    I'm sitting here listening to GBS on my computer while I work on genealogy -- and I cannot wait! I keep looking at the weather in Seattle (it's 72° here in Panama City) while I try to decide what to bring to wear. And, boo - hiss, I'll have to wear shoes! We wear sandals almost year-round down here. I'm trying to keep it to the computer case ...

    Well, I didn't exactly tell my doctor I was going, and my husband is not real thrilled -- but I'm bringing my walker (the wheel chair is too much trouble) -- I'll probably have to stay in bed all day after each show, but I'll be ready to go at show time. Carol

    I'll be at four shows - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday -- Edmonds, Bremerton, Bellingham and Olympia. I'm staying in Seattle Wednesday - Saturday and Bellingham on Sunday. I'm so excited I feel like packing right now! Carol

  • Bloomington Center for Performance Arts Show

    I'm excited. I thought about Wolf Trap, but (1)the venue has no provisions for people in wheel chairs in the orchestra pit, and (2) I KNOW how hot it is in DC in August.   • Went to see Tommy Sands

    on Friday night - he was playing with a daugher and a son. The daughter played the fiddle, bodhran and pipes. The son play various stringed instruments. Tommy and the daughter played a duet on the pipes which was heart-rending. She also danced when the occasion called for it -- including one song which required a broom. We really enjoyed ...
