Got home from a week's vacation to find that the cat sitter had not only taken superb care of Smudge, but voluntarily taken out the garbage, and apparently got Smudge to stay in one place long enough to get all the incipient mats out of his hyper-fluffy fur.  I couldn't find one tangle, which in a pea-soup muggy August is miraculous!Love,

  • Re: "Leaving"-New original song

Would you consider putting it on yousendit.com for the benefit of any dinosaurs whose antiquated operating systems won't support the version of Firefox required by myspace?  You can list the recipient as anythingatall at sunspotdesigns period com, and I'll post the direct link in this thread...Love, Columbine

  • Re: What are you reading now?

Snow in August by Pete Hamill.  SUPERB!  Michael Devlin, an altar boy in post-WW2 Brooklyn, is already a marked man when he witnesses an attempted murder by a gang ringleader, then gets into even more trouble by befriending the neighborhood rabbi.  Great use of a parallel story from real life, the signing of Jackie Robinson to the Dodgers.

PANIC!  Contraband Cumin!  Terrorist Turmeric!  Narcotic Nigella!  Customs are a load of morons.  At least my recipient's package was only used as a football (she's in the UK, and you know how they get about football).  We need an OKP teleporter.Love, Columbine (beam me up, Scotty)

  • Re: Album Art for Safe Upon the Shore

Rory:You got it right - it is all about the music.I'm 48 years old though , so I grew up with Album Cover Art. Interesting to see that such a simple painting has stirred up so much controversy - the power or art!''The power of art!''  That's priceless!  Well, close to it, if Andres Serrano's success is any gauge.
