I think the boys should book the ship themselves and invite Spirit of the West, 54-40, The Trews, and Sloan (they sailed last year and were great). I am sure that the boat would be full.

I know exactly how you felt. I went to a outdoor concert at the Festival of Friends in Hamilton in 85 and I can't even remember what band I was dying to see. GBS blew everyone away. Where are you in Ayrshire? Bill is from Dalry and my folks are from Greenock. I still have tons of family and was there in Largs etc in 2007 and we hope to go back next year for a wedding.

we decided on Xcaret. Although the ruins are mainly replicas, they offer quite a bit of cultural info and I thought they lazy river through the caves would be interesting. We are also thinking of paying the extra and doing the sea trek. There just seemed to be a little bit of everything but not enough to satisfy anyone who is serious

It was Beat the Drum in August 2007. It was near Inverness, in a place called.Drumnadrochit. They were there as guest of Runrig. It was the only day in rained during my two weeks over there but I didn't care a bit.
