I am doing a bit of traveling and got tickets for Oysterband in Cardiff July 9, and  a couple of friends can't make it, and I have two extra tickets, free.  do any UK GBS fans want to go? Just thought you might like to know that Burlington VT Mayor, Bob Kiss, was re-elected this week after a cliff hanging five-way race.  Mayor Kiss is the one who proclaimed Great Big Sea Day in Burlington when the boys honored us with their presence.  Maybe a repeat performance (on a day other than Halloween)?

I was figuring most folks would be staying in Miami so that's why I mentioned that...I have actually booked for  my favorite spa which is actually south of Fort Lauderdale, so will add to my travel time, but having all day Friday to lounge on the sand is worth an extra 20 minute drive at midnight.  I will check out Hertz.Thanks! I was wondering if anyone would want to carpool together to the DelRay Beach show after the cruise? I have a punishing 7AM flight the next morning out of Fort Lauderdale so looking for someone who would be riding back towards Miami right after the show. I also may have an extra ticket for the show....Can't wait for warmth and sunshine!

Unfortunately the Mayor has other plans tonight so won't be able to personally attend and give the proclamation to the boys.  Halloween is a tough night for folks as most seem to have other plans.  I like the idea of thinking of the boys every Halloween....a new ritual! 

Yes, tickets are still available.  Because its Halloween, many people have other plans, including the Mayor who won't be able to attend to personally give the Proclamation to the boys. Lots of people wanted to come that I talked with but either love Halloween and being home or have kids.
