Ha! I was just about to post my review, so I'll cut and paste it over here!
No Tarrytown review yet,
eh? Not sure Iโm the best equipped to provide the first one, but for what itโs
worth, good lord I had a good time last night!!! Admittedly, the circumstances
were well set for me to have fun โ my old roommate (and very best

Doh! Thanks for the info, though!

Did any of the boys do a solo at this show?(As a Fruhead in good standing, I'm hoping somewhat desperately for a Murray solo at Saturday night's show in Tarrytown. By my calculations, he'll be up that night as long as the rotation holds steady. As such, I am very curious to whether Kris stepped up to the mic in Joplin!)

Took me awhile, but finally remembered to drop by this thread to find out what Sean's Tweet was about. (''Criticized by Murray (the bastard) for being too Fruvous onstage tonite.'') Sounds like they were being chatty and a little edgy? With the significant caveat that I wasn't actually *at* the show , I tend to think I'd fall on

CodCheeks:Somehow I managed to avoid GBS for years.ย Sometimes it kills me to think about it.ย 4 trips to Newfoundland, I was a Gaelic Storm fan, and GBS even played a free concert minutes from my home one year.ย I never found out about them until 1 ยฝ years ago.ย I definitely consider myself fortunate. BillandAudrey:I have had to drag friends to go over the years and even though they all said no at first, after seeing them, they are all fans. This is so true! I once tried to count how many different friends I've dragged with me to various Great Big Sea shows over the years (it's seriously in the neighborhood of 15-20), and all but one of them

Ten years ago today, I attended a Canada Day concert in Central Park in NYC. The Tragically Hip headlined the show, and admittedly, they were the main draw for me. Great Big Sea was the first opener (followed by the Jeff Healey Band), and though I'd heard maybe 3 or 4 of their songs, I arrived early enough to catch their set only because I wanted

@ Fran: Have a look into hotels in White Plains. I live close enough that
I'd never need a hotel, but far enough away that I'm not a local, so
I'm not familiar with specific hotels, but White Plains is a bit more
of a business center than Tarrytown, so there should be more options
there. Travel between the two towns is almost all highway.

Should I be embarrassed that I actually thought that was kind of awesome?? Tee hee!!! I mean, the video was completely ridiculous, but I liked the way the song sounded. Brought me right back to high school glam rocker days! Thanks for posting!
