As a precursor to this suggestion, I have to say that I've been enjoying the renovations appearing on the main page...the link to new items on the sites ( including Alan and Bob's blogs, podcasts, news articles etcl),  the links to the band's My Space page and to the Daffodil cause, and the poll about songs...all in all I love that every time I visit the main page, there could be something new (and interactive!) to see...Kudos to those heading up this and keep 'em coming!

 Anyhow...in the spirit of these new chachkis on the main page, I had a thought for something to add,  depending on if it is even logistically feasible....

A featured "Picture of the day"

(or week or month...whatever is most feasible as far as getting the most people to see it, being able to change from one picture to another, etc)

We all love to share and post our pics, that's a given.  But wouldn't it be cool if one of the pictures you took was featured on the main page for a period of time...? The site could also put a link to the gallery of other pictures from the tours/shows!

If it's not feasible to do it on the main page we could figure out how to do something similar in a new thread on the OKP I suppose...I dunno ...I am in a few other fan type communities that do this and sometimes it's a real treat to see a new picture without having to wade through old posts and such to get that "visual fix" *lol*

Anyhoooooo....just a thought.
