I have a comic/cartoon question for ya Xany. How come cartoon people only ever have 3 fingers??
Animator's lore says it's because back in the early days of animation/comics, cartoonists realized they could save time by not drawing/animating the fourth finger, and that for the most part, it didn't affect the character at all and most audiences didn't even register.
In my case...I'm lazy. When I do my toony style, my characters are lucky not to wind up with fingerless paws.
Just do me one favor, OK? Let me know when your first book is published. You're amazingly talented.

Thanks. I had problems with it, if only because confused-and-innocent-Alan is nowhere near as hilariously adorable as the reality, which was Alan-trying-to-pretend-to-be-innocent-and-failing-miserably.
Sean is all eyebrows. That's what always stands out to me.
