Here's a new game for us: One person posts a word or phrase and the next person has to come up with song lyrics that contain that word or phrase. Please also give the name of the song and the artist. For example, if the word is "pub" "I was born inside the pub, if the tale's to be believed. But I think it's much more likely it's there I was conceived." Time, Drink 'Em Up by Gaelic Storm Everybody get how to play? Good. We'll start with something easy. The word is "black."
God's favorite joke since 1984. "If you don't think, you shouldn't talk!" - The March Hare, Alice In Wonderland

Gosh, that's a toughy! How 'bout "The Ol' Black Rum's got a hold on me, like a dog wrapped round my leg." Sooooo... "brave"
In the social order, I accept the bottom rung, until the wine is pouring and the Lord commands a song!

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

Easy! Thanks for the opportunity to plug a great song from one of THE classic albums of the '90s Eternal life is now on my trail | | Got my red glitter coffin man, just need one last nail | | While all these ugly gentlemen play out their foolish games | | There's a flaming red horizon that screams our names |
Eternal Life by Jeff Buckley, from "Grace" (1994) Next word ~ straw

Ok I cheated. Dang you can find anything on Google! Coffin car, she’s riding a coffin car. People watching her with tender eyes, Friends whispering in kindly words, Children running, waving hands, Telling each other, how pretty she is.

Where players dash with skates aflash the home team trails behind But they grab the puck and go bursting up and they're down across the line They storm the crease like bumble bees they travel like a burning flame We see them slide the puck inside -It's a "1-1" hockey game! "Fish swim, birds fly Daddies yell, Mamas cry Old men sit and think ...I drink" I Drink by Mary Gauthier (from Drag Queens In Limousines, 2001) For those of you not familiar, she's a singer-songwriter from Thibodaux, New Orleans. Has a Southern blues/ country sound. Great songs; some autobiographical, some could be written about you! Next word ~ leather
