The idea of a forum on the OKP just for fan created art came up here.

There are a lot of talented fans creating GBS related artwork, wallpapers, icons, avatars, signatures, poetry, lyrics, music, etc...All these pieces have a common theme: original works demonstrating fan appreciation of the band... But all of these types of posts end up in various and sundry sections, from Photos to general discussion, making them harder to find and/or appreciate!

It might be quite cool to give artists their own forum on the OKP for posting this type of material!

GBS Concerts: The most fun you can have with your clothes on.

A few years ago I proposed a GBS fan art show, but as semi web illeterate knew somone else would need to post the material, host the site or page and I know there were many sbmissions but for whatever reason it never came to fruition.

 I'm not sure if you are hoping for a gallery, or just want people to upload artwork into a thread. Not sure how they are handlig photos in that section but it seems a likely place for such an idea make it photos/artwork... ah but what about musical artists, downloads of fans playing music?

Anybody want to host a site... The Arts of The Fans Of GBS?

What kinds of Arts are you thinking Nick...we have a fairly wide array of talents here, from preformers to painters, drawers, to jewlery makers to crocheters to quilters and needleworkers are they all going to be represented or just the ones that relate to GBS directly, like the cartoonists and the singers who cover gbs?

Well I vote for ALL manner of arts! Scans of visual art, be it drawings, paintings, needlework, crafts, jewelry, digital art; or recordings! Related to GBS or not! Andi, maybe you could scan in some of your lovely crosstitch stuff? Mac should post some of her quilting!

Matter fact, I'ma go start a random art thread! :)
