i just got my school schedule worked out for the spring semester (January - April). I have evening classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and the Vancouver show on the 9th of February just so happens to be on a Thursday. *HISS* That's the sound of my GBS balloon springing a leak, because I'm not forking over $1500 a semester to cut classes. Tempting as all get out, but with 11 shows already under my belt and only 13 weeks in the term, it's the right thing to.

But wait, there's a Victoria show the next night, a Friday *RIP* *SLAP* (patching my GBS balloon with duct tape ). and as of now I don't have any Friday commitments. BUT .... that means ferries and overnight hotel and meals and ... basically doubling or tripling the cost of going to the Vancouver show. i was only going to be able to afford the Vancouver show by dumping it on my VISA card and ignoring it 'til whenever. But the rest of it? *eyes already ugly credit card bills* *eyes low bank balance* *sighs heavily*

Nope, the responsible decision is simply to do without. No GBS for Geri this go-round. *POP*!!! (me taking a pin to my GBS balloon)
