Who ever thought Great Big Sea would play Wenatchee of all places!  You gotta love that their coming to our home town.  I'm new to GBS.  My roomie introduced me to them this summer.  I've been having a pretty tough time, just being unhappy where I'm at in life, and then one day, I was flipping through a GBS C.D. and I found the song Ordinary Day.  WOW!  This song is amazing, and just listening to it this past month has put me at so much peace, and no matter how bad my day is, I can lsiten to this song, and it all feels better!  Thanks to GBS for such a wonderful song, and I can't wait for the gig in Wenatchee.... we are third row center!  And if any of you out there haven't been to Wenatchee, we have a small intimate performing arts center, (bout 530 seats is all) that will be perfect for these guys, and should be great!  CAN"T WAIT!

First of all Welcome to the Online Kitchen Party! (OKP) It's good to hear that its a small venue, the b'ys are sure to rock it! You've got great seats although you probably wont be sitting much! Ordinary Day is one of my favorites. Its part of my morning ritual to sing it when I walk to class every morning.

That's the song that captured me as well way back in 1997. Still has the same impact 13 years later. Great song! Welcome from Philly to the OKP. We are a mostly harmless bunch as long as no one talks about religion, politics, or socialized medicine. LOL!
