It really is too bad that we have to post links to other sites to view pictures.  Maybe if enough of us beg and plead we can have all the GBS pics we take posted right here.  Who knows GBS might even come across some future pics for album covers, liner note booklets or future concert posters. I don't think copyrights are an issue here.  Really if you are a professional photographer you wouldn't post your stuff anyway or you would have some large text running through the picture. So I am speaking mainly about our little family of devoted GBS fans.  How many of you would be for putting an end to having to wander over to another window at another website?????  Lets talk this up and see if we can't get this changed.

If the photos are elswhere, the GBS website doesn't have to use up their precious server space. This site has got to use up quite the gigabytes of memory. Plus, they don't have to worry about unscupulous people attaching viruses to the photos.

Just trying to present an alternate view. My father was a great debater. I am ususally not on the pooh-pooh side, but have been involved on a board where people did indeed include viruses in their links or photos. Most people on here are benign, but I've seen a few who are only here for agitating. They did ask us to contribute photos a few years ago, but after a while, the feature was removed - no explanation. You might send an inquiry to the admin of the board, nicopop. I hope that suggestion got me out of your doghouse! :)

Yes, unfortunately, considering the negative side is a necessary preventative measure in policy-making.  Of course the true fans wouldn't (knowingly) do such a thing, but virus-spreaders often just like the challenge.

Anyway, I'd forgotten about the facebook page, or at least I hadn't thought of adding my own content to it.  Hmmm....
