I've been to St. Louis and Chicago to see GBS.  Never thought I would see them in my own backyard.  Knew it was going to be a great show when the opening song was Donkey Riding.  As my son put it, you just haven't lived until you've heard Donkey Riding live.   My family thought I came unglued when they sang my favorite song, General Taylor.  And that last song just showed how truly talented this group is.  They have sang and talked for the better part of three hours and then are able to sing accapella with no microphones.  Absolutely Incredible !!!  I hope they come back soon and maybe we can give them a sellout crowd !!!!

My son said that he was trying to "enjoy the music" and Mom was "acting like a goofy head". Yep, that's me, I totally lose it when GBS is live in front of my face! Screaming, dancing, clapping, had the time of my life. Where were you sitting? We were right up front, stage Alan. I hope that they come back to Bloomington. I know that it didn't sell out, but it wasn't a bad crowd. And it was wonderful to have an all ages show that we could all attend. Plus, as much as the seats hindered dancing, it was good to actually have a reserved spot up front instead of doing the G.A. push and shove...
