    St. Catharines show was fabulous!

Just got home from the show at Brock University's theatre.  A small and intimate venue and the boys seemed relaxed.  Loved so much of the older stuff and the final song a capella without any microphones summed up their talent.  Really hope the "original" version of Sea of No Cares is on an upcoming album - have heard it here tonight and at the Molson Amphitheatre last month and can't get enough!  Also enjoyed the new composition "Does the world really need another protest song".  Has my vote for making it to the new album.  I've been following the boys for the whole 17 years from a Frosh Week concert at McMaster University when I was just starting to 3 concerts in the last 8 months.  Amazing how my life has changed in that time but still fabulous how much I can enjoy, remember and relax with their music.  Thanks for sticking with us all through the years and thanks for a great evening.  Safe travels!

I concur wholeheartedly with both the vote in favour of the "non-protest song" and with the general sentiments of the evening.  The room had quite a mix of people (more so than I've noticed recently) but it was great to hear the band in a small place.  I especially appreciated the banter including local references without sounding like a forced commraderie.

They played a great mix of new and old stuff, and we got River Driver's Lament, The Chemical Worker's Song AND Old Brown's Daughter!! I should have brought my kids!

And I'm really glad they love our woods, too!

I agree 100%, the show they played here at Brock University was amazing. I will never stop loving The Chemical Worker's Song live AND I was sooo glad to finally here Old Brown's Daughter LIVE!! Ever since the live dvd, I've waited & waited to hear it!

Love the new song too & can't wait for their new album. I hope they'll return to Brock soon, sure it was a small venue & a different mix of people... but they should TOTALLY come back!
