I'm flying to St. John's from Edmonton - I'll be there the last week of April.  Can anyone give me some good advice where I can go to listen to the best bands play??  I know we ALL LOVE GBS here, so I think I would likely like what you like!!  Thanks ever so much!!

It's hard not to lke St. John's. If you peruse the Newfoundland area of the website, where you posted this, you will find plenty of sugggestions for places to go, things to do and bands to see. There are even some links to adverts of the local music scene. CHeck it out! And have fun.

There are so many parts of Canada that I have yet to see such as Newfoundland (My Cousin's husband is from St. Johns), B.C., Alberta!! and I've only been to Prince Edward Island once and that was many many moons ago.
