    From the bright sunny South

Or the occassionally sunny and freakishly humid, but more often of late damp and cold South.

I'm looking forward to using th OKP to meet other fans, because there don't seem to be any others here in Nashville!  Or are there?

    Welcome Barilla!

I'm sure there are fans in and around Nashville. They've been there a few times. How did you find out about them? I discovered them in Nova Scotia on the radio.

    Welcome Aboard, Barilla!

Like you, I felt like I was the only Colorado fan for ages too.  But then I'd go to a show and a 1,000 seat theater was sold out!  I wondered where all these people had been hiding.  Only a very small percentage post on the OKP.

You may find some local fans here but, you'll surely "meet" loads of people who love GBS from all over North America and Europe!  And you'll meet people from who-knows-where who'll show up in Nashville when the band does!

    Hope you have fun here!

    Thanks for the warm welcome!

I used to be a HUGE Chieftains fan, and I bought the "Fire in the Kitchen" album about ten years ago.  I listened to their joint rendition of "Lukey" way more than any of the other tracks.  Loved Alan's voice!  Just about a year ago I remembered how I loved that song and used the wonder of the internet to look into Great Big Sea.  Been obsessed ever since!
