Rude by the bus in Edmonton - My Apology

I rarely post anything, but I desperately need to apologize to the two gals I met outside the bus in Edmonton on Sunday night.  You were gracious enough to take pictures of my two girls, and my sister and myself with Alan (who, was equally gracious to pose with us), and in all of my excitement (and a feeling that I just wanted to move along and let Alan say hello to everyone else, and then rush into the bus and warm up), I walked away without even asking if I could take pictures for you.  I am SO sorry ladies!  You were both fun to visit with while we tried to stay warm, and I hope you read this and accept my most sincere apologies.  (Couldn't even sleep that night because it was bothering me so much!)  Hope you got your book signed, and that it was worth it for you to brave the chilly night!  I know it was more than worth it for us!

I was there too (cheating and sitting in the red car), but I'll be honest, I don't think you came across as rude.  I think everyone was just trying not to blow away! :-)

Well, I know it was inconsiderate of me, so I really hope one of them reads this!  (Must have been nice to be so warm!)

It just struck me how rude WE were being... we had a whole back seat available.  Now I'M the one who needs to apologize!

Haha!  This can turn into the "Apologies Welcome" thread.  No apology too big or too small!

Only in Canada would I see a struggle to apologize the most.

IF this was America, there'd be a similar post but instead of "sorry for being inconsiderate and not staying to see if you wanted pictures"
it would be "sorry I didn't stab you in the ribs before I left"

What's the weather like out west right now? Anyone know? The boys are doing the long trek to Vancouver today, I think. Let's all send them warm and safe travel thoughts from all points north, south, east and west of their present GPS.

Hey, now.  Easy on the American bashing.

I haven't stabbed anyone in at least a week.

    Of course, it's only Tuesday.

And I haven't had any coffee yet this morning.

SpringsFans, that reminds me of "So far today, I have done all right. I haven't gossiped, haven't been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or over-indulgent. I'm very thankful for that. However, in just a few minutes I'm going to get out of bed. From then on I'm going to need a lot more help." Smile

Of course I can't function without my morning java.  It's habit.

    Cheers!

Right on! Angel I feel the same way about my GBS buddies south of the 49. Was up til nearly 3am last night chatting to one of them. GBS fans are a pretty cool breed. Smile

That's funny, I thought this was a site to celebrate GBS, not to bash Americans, which in itself is pretty rude...

"Celebrate. Good times. Come on! There's a party going on right here..." (okay sorry for that ear worm!) Angel Back-to-back shows in Vancouver right now. So glad they arrived safe and sound. Safe travels everyone. And, I wish you all a bit of warm Paradise too.

I thought I was being sarcastic. I love most Americans. And feel hopeful for them now that they voted for Barack.

And I apologize for adding a nasty stereo-type...yet re-enforcing the Canadian stero-type by being quick to apologize
