    St. John's to Toronto

I would love to be at the show inToronto this july, and was already planning a trip toNewfoundland this summer, I was wondering if any one knows the cheapest and easiest way to get from St. John's to Toronto.

WestJet tends to have a lot of seat sales, but I'm not sure what they'll be like in the summer.  Their offers tend to be for departures on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

I flew from Toronto to St. John's in the summer using points for the airfare (and then of course paying the taxes).  However for autumn and winter flights, in the end it was a better deal to just book pay a full (cheap) fare and hold onto points for other trips.

Sunwing also has seasonal flights between Toronto and St. John's.  Currently there is nothing available between those two points but I know that that flights were available this past autum.

    Good luck and happy travels!

Hi:  I booked with Westjet about 3 mths before my trip. I'm heading to St. John's to see my sister.  And I got a great seat sale.  I kept checking on their site and found a great deal and whined at dh about the price, so he went down to the Westjet counter at the Hamilton Airport and he got an even sweeter deal.  It cost me 129.00 one way, so with taxes my trip worked out to 375.00. Dh is also doing the trip to St. John's in July with his best friend, to see my sister.  They were going to do the drive & ferry, but it was so much more expensive.  So his fare was 425.00 through westjet too. Our holidays are separate only because my sister's place is small, didn't want to crowd her out.  And my holidays are really a leave from work for a week..haven't been there long enough for holidays and not many employees take their holidays in early June.  Check them out.
