At some point tomorrow (Saturday, February 9) GreatBigSea.com will be offline for roughly an hour. Unfortunately, I can't give you an estimated time of when this will happen, but I've been told that maintenance should only take about an hour.

Not sure how long the site was off-line for or if everything's finished but I still get the black "we're off-line" screen when I click on some links.

Sometimes it's the general 'forum' link sometimes it's 'unread posts' but not all the time.

There's something wrong with the 'quick reply' button. When I used it tonight (for the 1st time ever so it may just be my computer and have nothing to do with the maintenance) I got a post screen that just kept rolling over. I couldn't scroll to the top at all, it just kept repeating itself, and my reply screen appeared on top of a faded version of a regular post screen (I could see my avatar grayed-out in the background). It was very strange

I had hoped to see the NST time zone added this round but there isn't any sign of that yet.  Any word on when we'll see that?  I'm sure that for a site that is for a band that LIVES in the NST time zone it only makes sense to have it as an option.  But we don't yet.  I know I'd like to have the proper time displayed for any posts I read or make - I live in NL too.

I am hoping for an official album release date ..... or tour dates..... specifically ONTARIO tour dates !

Or maybe we'll even get a brand new GBS slideshow on the homepage, because the current one has been growing old there for one year and seven months !!!  It would sure be refreshing to see some updated exciting recent GBS photos (from 'Ships & Dip'), instead of pics from July 8 2006 ( which constantly reminds me that July 8/06 was the last GBS concert that I saw ).

Oh well, I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer for the exciting news.
