    Newfoundland portal

Over the years, I've posted a lot of things on the web about Newfoundland.

Most of it has been photo albums along with links to information useful to potential visitors.  This weekend, I reorganized (and updated) much of the link information into a portal of information that I think could be useful to those thinking of visiting The Rock.  Like any good web site, it's never "finished" but it's complete enough now to warrant inviting you to come take a look.

Your comments on the site are welcome.

The site is at http://shorock.com/nfld. Come take a look.

Wow!  So much great information!  I love all the pictures!  My friends and I went to St. John's twice...could have used some of that info in our trip planning.  I still plan on going back with my husband...so I might hit you up for some tips!

    Re: Newfoundland portal

Feel free to ask away. While physically in Kansas much of the year, I'm live in a virtual Newfoundland. In a typical day, I listen to 4-6 hours of local Newfoundland radio and watch an hour of Newfoundland television news. Then I read a lot, too. This year's visit will be longer than most years (3 weeks instead of 2). The only thing wrong with going to Newfoundland is that there's so much to do that I miss my normal radio and tv shows from Newfoundland. Just too much live entertainment. Oh, well, I put up with it.
