A whole bunch of my songs...
Just in case anyone out there is interested... haven't posted songs in forever. Even If, the most elaborate recording. Original. Redemption Song, by Bob Marley Dry, by Ron Hynes Aller, original One By One, by Enya Marianne, by Tori Amos (piano solo) Butterfly, by Tori Amos (piano solo) Teardrops On My Guitar, by Taylor Swift. Not the best recording. Sweet Bride, by Kate Rusby Sorry to be a bother, or anything...
Great Big Stuff! "I'm still in diapers, actually." - Ron Hynes "Any people from Newfoundland? Whaddya doin' here?! Taking all the jobs?! REVENGE!" - Ron Hynes "You're like Bob with tits." - Candace

Re: A whole bunch of my songs...
I am assuming this is you singing and playing. If so, you are absolutely amazing! I know that if I had your version of "Redemption Song" on my iPod and I played it at a party, everyone would ask how they could get a copy. I am awed by your talent. Wow. Thank you so much for sharing. (Do you have a CD available for sale?)

Lovely, lovely and lovely! You do have a great voice. Did you record them in a studio or via yourself using one of those audio/midi converters for the home computer like Tascam?

Ah Stephy, Stephy, Stephy,
You need to post your version of "Molly Malone" as well as "Underneath The Stars."

Working on it, babe! I only posted those I had online! Nope. No CD. My uncle has a recording studio and will help me out with a demo a few weeks from now. Gotta get writin' new material, 'cause I was invited to a Songwriter's Circle-type thing and a possible interview for CBC Radio. And on the same day I met Ron Hynes! Talk about a good day! Eesh. I recorded all the tracks using my guitar, an occasion cable to plug it in the computer (I prefer mic. The cable makes the guitar sound way too sharp), my Yamaha keyboard (for piano, bass, drums, strings...) and a crappy computer mic. The program I use is Vegas 4.0... brilliant noise removal for acoustic songs! Thanks.

Steph, wow -- what to say but you have some talent! Sounds like you have some irons in the fire, too --- let us know how they go...get someone to record so we can see you performing live. I had the pleasure of finally seeing Ron Hynes a couple of times in August -- the first night was in the bar that he most often plays at and it is small. It was just him (his bass player joined him occasionally) He couldn't believe that two girls from DC and NY knew all his songs and he took requests from us for his last set. I have to say it was one of the musical highlites of that trip -- and there are many to choose from. Getting to hear Gone to Canada, Atlantic Tide, No Kathleen and Mary had a Baby, to name but a few, was unbelievable!

Very nice Steph! I just saw this today, kind of an old post, but the songs were great!! How did the writing workshop, demo CD, etc. all go? It's all great, the original stuff is awesome. Keep us posted. Chris
