Hi Robert:

Amanda is absolutely correct - a bunch of Great Big Sea (and - in general - music) fans get together on a Saturday evening to play/listen to Great Big Sea and other cover tunes. All are welcome to participate in some fashion - My daughter Kate (who is 6) usually gets up to perform, while my great grandmother (92) hangs out in the back to shake an egg or a tambourine. We usually get together for dinner at Front Page News, which is right down the street from the coffeehouse.
