I agree with that. Earring backings, a piece of eraser, they're all good. Of course when I'm out and about, and pick up a poppy in mid-late October I get one whenever I see a box. I haven't preplanned it, stick it on my shirt. 3 hours later - gone. Thus the cycle continues. Why break with tradition 
Today was a day that I was very proud to work for the company here I'm currently employed. Memorial wreaths were in the lobbies of their main offices across Canada, flags were flying at half-mast, the company intranet had pictures and stories of staff members that served in WWI and WWII (this company is well over 100 years old), and current staff were reminded in company bulletins to take their moment of reflection and remembrance. I see too much in today's society where such things don't happen, that it was comforting to see such an important date being recognized respectfully.
