I'm with you ladies.  I am wishing Emma back home too.  She's been gone since 2/23.  Boyfriend doesn't work; refuses to finish high school or get GED; his mom pays for everything - is paying for the 2 of them to go to Lollapalooza in Chicago next week - airfare, hotel, tickets.  And they went to a movie festival in NYC and stayed in some posh hotel.  These 2 kids are 18 and 19 years old and are doing things that most people can never do or do once in a lifetime and have to save, save, save for it.  They appreciate nothing and expect everything.  This is NOT the way I raised my daughter.  And, as I've said before, absolutely no rules at the house either - anything goes.  And the BF has been abusive to her in the past.  I wonder every single day what in the "h" is going down there.  Emma is still working but not full time.  The 2 of them are talking about moving out of his mom's house and getting an apt.  Good luck with that children.  On Emma's salary - no freakin' way.  Apts. where we live are $1,500 - $2,000 a month.  I just hope some nice young man comes in to the store to buy an ice cream and sweeps her off her feet.  I can only pray.
