we decided on Xcaret. Although the ruins are mainly replicas, they offer quite a bit of cultural info and I thought they lazy river through the caves would be interesting. We are also thinking of paying the extra and doing the sea trek. There just seemed to be a little bit of everything but not enough to satisfy anyone who is serious about something.
