I'm not a huge fan of the Dead either (neither do I like the Beatles).  I've swam in the ocean too and it's the only place I will swim - nothing else compares to it.

I've never hit anyone in anger either.  Well, I've never hit anyone at all, including my kids.  This is not to say that I have not been tempted to smack some "common sense" into someone, but nah, I figuere getting whacked with the stupid stick is punishment enough.   

I have never seen a bird hatch (or a duck, chicken, lizard, etc)

I have never seen a bird hatch either but I have seen a pregnant moose's belly get kicked by her unborn calf (did that make sense?  a cow moose was browsing and as I was driving past, I saw her belly jump out from a fetal moose calf hoof) and a moose calf with the umbilical cord still hanging down (a different year)

Unfortuneately have gotton speeding ticket-but can't top you andi-that's awesome!! Have sewn clothes,never had Mono,have been in the hosp.regularly(asthma!!yuck)but never in prison for any reason,not Hawaii,but Florida alot. I love turkey and am the "turkey cooker" love to smell it cooking (-Hey Happy Thanksgiving everyone)-I've fished in the ocean-but like to swim in it more!! Never really liked the Dead, or the Beatles-have seen a bird hatch, and a foal birthed, and of course dogs and cats-Hey ana-I'm up at 2 also- wish you could call me!!

I have never used a spinning wheel-but always wanted to try.

Wish I could call you too!   I've never used a spinning wheel either and I'd also like to try.  I think I'd be afraid to prick my finger on it though - bad luck I hear (OK, so I read lots of fairy tales as a kid).  Mind you, the though of sleeping for a long time sounds rather good actually.   Seriously, I would like to try it one day.

I have never been to New Orleans either, although we are planning on going summer of 2009.

I have seen the dead (loved it) and love the beatles too (went through a Sgt. Pepper faze when I was 14 that almost killed my father and he loves them too.  I haven't ever spun either but I have knit with home spun yarn.  I too love to swim and fish in the ocean although now do both in the river instead. 

 I have never been on a houseboat.

I went to New Orleans at the age of 17 when I was in high school and performed in a park by Jackson Square with the school concert band and choir.  It was a great trip.  Lots of sightseeing and a night of live jazz.  I'd love to go back to the French Quarter one day.

I never saw the Dead, but like their music.  However, I'm quite the Beatles fan!  In fact the bag/purse I'm using at the moment is a Beatles bag.  Love, love, love the Beatles.

I went houseboating for the first time this summer, cruising the Thousand Islands.  It was an amazing experience and I consider myself very fortunate for being invited to join my friend's family on the trip.

I've never gone to a dusk to dawn four movie feature night at the drive-in theatre.

I have never been to New Orleans either. 

I have been on a houseboat.  I have seen the Dead many times, like the Beatles and saw Paul McCartney once in 1990 in Philly.  Some family friends in Jersey had a spinning wheel.  I've watched, but never have spun.  I love swimming in the ocean, have swum in lakes, rivers, pools, and natural hot springs.

I ski, but I have never tried snow boarding.

I've been to New Orleans, multiple times-but not recently-I was on a houseboat for a short time but not an extended trip-I'd like to do a week on  Lake Powell on one-I've never been to a dusk to dawn movie-never snowboarded,or learned to lindy- I can ballroom dance and salsa but...

I never learned to Tango!!

Fairy tales are great aren't they?  Once upon a time.....in a land far away....... - gets me every time.

I have learned to tango.  Can't for the life of me imagine why.  I was young at the time - it was OK, just not my thing really.  I could never do it now.

I have never been in any video/movie/documentary, etc. (I even hate getting my pic taken)

I have never been in a movie etc but I have been on TV once if that counts. I was at a festival and they were doing some kind of 2-minute fashion show thing, me and my friend were asked to join in and be filmed. Never saw it though, so I don't know if I was any good!

I have never had a piece of writing published- in any form.  

I have never been on TV, but I have had a peice of writing published- in the high school lit mag.  A story about a unicorn and a very cosmic poem about a wave.  Ok, I was SIXTEEN, give me a break, and I DO realize that the above sentence had no subject

I have never been president of anything.
