Perhaps we should all make a sign that says "GREAT BIG FANS want GREAT BIG SHIRTS !" and take it to the concerts on this tour.

Maybe the b'ys would get the message to the makers and breakers then.

I LOVE that idea!  Now if only they would come to Halifax, I'd do that!!

I have a black tee with the label inside saying G*B*S APPAREL.  On the front it says THREE OLIVES CHERRY BOMB CHERRY VODKA. Kind of cool!

Kewl thanks Andi. I was worried as my 3 kids have jackets with all kinds of patches on them. I dont need any more trouble than I already find my self in daily with 3 little ones under five .

    Cheers

    Angie:

Another big girl here....Got lucky when I saw the guys on tour last year in Atlanta they had larger sizes and I was able to get one that fit. and I love it!!!

Though good fitting sirts are hard to find. All depends on who makes them. Some run smaller than others

I'll be frank, I chose not to buy a GBS shirt pre-my first GBS-concert b/c money is a bit tight right now.  I'll be frank on another matter I have just gone from a 16/18 to a 14 .  I'm glad I didnt get a shirt online for both reasons.  I was actually a bit impressed when I saw that American Apparel was the maker of the shirts, but I didnt think the sizing ran that small. I guess being a 14 still isnt good enough *sigh*

Considering what Angie said, what is the sizing of concert Ts like?

Pardon me moneypenny, but it's the bloody shirts that aren't good enough.

Can't tell you about the size of concert Ts, sorry. Anyone?

They run small too. Bought a shirt for my daughter, who was 9 at the time, a ladies medium and it fit her. So that says something eh?! Who does a small fit---a two year old?!

    Abso-freakin-lutely.

I bought a couple of shirts at the concert in Buffalo.  Both were XL's.  The babydoll style shirt actually fits pretty nicely, but I don't dry it in the drier lest it shrink.  (I typically wear a ladies' medium or large.)  I couldn't tell you who made it, but I really don't think it was American Apparel.  The other is a men's style shirt (wasn't thinking clearly, I guess) and I washed it in warm water and dried it on hot and it refused to shrink, so now it's a night shirt.

Yeah, the concert shirts are no different. My friend wears about an 8 or so, and she bought one of those red women's hockey style shirts in and XL, and it was snug on her.

Re: New "Plus Size" shirts? NOT SO MUCH!

I was asked to pass this info along by Andi to all of you.  She contacted American Apparel and rec'd a response:

Dear Andi, Thanks for taking the time to drop us a note. Most websites and merchants who offer t-shirts printed on American Apparel provide sizing guides or advise customers to order one size up from what they usually get as our sizing does tend to run smaller than other clothing companies. I do see that the store on the GBS website does have a note that our sizing tends to run small and provides a link to our size guide. Perhaps you can contact the customer service for their online store and see about exchanging sizes. Kind regards,

    Lisa Kim

She asked that I pass it along to all of you, due to computer issues.

Sorry if it's tabu to quote myself, but I looked at the brand of the shirt that fits, and it's made by Rebel Apparel.  It's not as long as the American Apparel ones, but it's definitely bigger everywhere else than the American Apparel XL I got at the Gaelic Storm concert last weekend.  Perhaps GBS should go back to Rebel Apparel for their shirts?

I don't get it, we can buy a hoody in a 3XL. I'm 6'4 and built accordingly and that fits me. How come the ladies aren't shown the same courtesy?Fair question since I know I've seen the ladies ask for larger sizes in the past. Obviously there's a market for it. Who does the market research and decides this stuff?
