Flutey - Glad I could help.  It took me a few minutes to think it through, the first time I wanted to post photos.

LOVE your shots, esp. the sunset in Scotland. Nice light!

    Re: Photography

This is one of my favorite nearby places, the Hyalite reservoir.  It's awesome for fishing, hiking, and camping, and it's only about 15 minutes from where I live.  This picture was taken in early June of 2006 (I think -- maybe late May) on the water in my friends' canoe.

(edited: grammar so nasty, it made me cringe.)

I am officially reviving this thread!

I've had a Flickr account for a while now, and have been meaning to share it with everyone, but I keep getting sidetracked :P

    Re: Photography

Altered images:  If they are your own, no problem.  If you are doing it to someone else's, then you should credit them and not do it for commercial purposes.

    Re: Photography

    Do you mean like manipulations?
    (Like these? http://xplug-in-baby.deviantart.com/)

I do those often. Mostly for horse roleplaying and sim gaming. However, I totally believe in crediting the stock-image owners, and I always work under a commercial license.

So as long as you're crediting, I'm down with it :D

    Re: Photography

i meant like photo -editing. i have a bit of a photo editing habit.

however i find some of the features on macs (like iphoto) to be less creative, i admit they are really fun when using the built in web cam, however the lack of customization seems artless to me.

i took the originals at an antique fair, and then i editied them with microsoft digital image suite.

these are rough, and not entirely finished or "polished".
