30 hours?! Really??? Holy jeez, I'd really had better bring aaaaaaaall the musical instruments eh?

Plus, thats from Canada eh? they'd pick you enroute so it'd be less for you. Bring them anyhow, I need help with the &^%$$^&%%$ Bodhran coordination. Columbine is at a Sci Fi Convention selling her Art so she'll arrive on another flight, probably get the enterprise to drop her off.

Bodhran, guitar, mandola, fiddle, and tin whistle en route, Mike. How in the hell I'm carrying all of them is another story. It's going to be a bit difficult to sit on your lap while trying to teach you bodhran though. Razz

Fear not, they all do. Has it flown out of your hand across the room or knocked you in the face yet? Mine used to like to do that. You must tame the tipper. They're trainable, I promise. Razz

Is it bad that I just looked up flight times from Victoria to Australia??? baffled I could be in Sydney by Monday at 9:15AM (Sydney time). It's only a 20 hour flight from this side of the continent. Plus - I'd get to stop in Honolulu for an hour or two. thumbup Now... if only I had $2100 to spare. Roll Eyes

Sounds like a plan ladies! It'll be a party plane! Big Grin

Maybe it's 30 hours from Newfoundland to Australia? I'm thinking there must be an extra layover or two if you're coming from there.

    Re: The George Street Café

St. John's to Australia...man that must be one awfully long flight and a helluva lot of layovers. When I went from NYC to St. John's, I had to go from NYC to Toronto to Halifax to St. John's. Took about 6 hours, not counting time lost due to going east 2 time zones. I think I left NYC at like 3:30pm and landed in SJ at midnight. I bet that Aus flight would be something like St. John's>Toronto>L.A.>Honolulu>Sydney, or something absurd like that. *shudder* Poor Alan and Russell eh?

Hawaii? Pancakes? Drinking?... Did I die and go to heaven?

I've offically joined the topic (Had to flip the map around a few times... Someone didn't bother with a compass). Bran and Michael, control yourselves. PG, please. Razz

So... It's too early for Mandy to be drinking, so I'll have hers. What's legal drinking age in Aus? Please say 12. Wink
