Is it bad that I just looked up flight times from Victoria to Australia??? I could be in Sydney by Monday at 9:15AM (Sydney time). It's only a 20 hour flight from this side of the continent. Plus - I'd get to stop in Honolulu for an hour or two. Now... if only I had $2100 to spare.

St. John's to Australia...man that must be one awfully long flight and a helluva lot of layovers. When I went from NYC to St. John's, I had to go from NYC to Toronto to Halifax to St. John's. Took about 6 hours, not counting time lost due to going east 2 time zones. I think I left NYC at like 3:30pm and landed in SJ at midnight. I bet that Aus flight would be something like St. John's>Toronto>L.A.>Honolulu>Sydney, or something absurd like that. *shudder* Poor Alan and Russell eh?
