    Carbon Leaf in NYC

    Is anyone going to the Carbon Leaf / SK6ERS show on  Saturday, November 28 show at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC?

    I'm lame and going all by myself and would love to have some company.

    I suspect you won't be alone once you get there!  Unfortunately, they were playing on a weeknight in Boston recently.  Lucky Annapolis people get 4 shows in 3 days coming up!

    And I will be at one of those Annapolis shows!  Still wish they had had one of the double bill Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers/CL shows here in the DC/MD/VA area -- kind of odd, given that CL is from VA...oh well:(

    Sure to be a blast Mike!  I just saw them a couple of weeks ago in Annapolis and I think it was one of the best shows I've seen in many years.

    Yes, we saw them at Tupelo Hall a couple of months ago - great intimate venue.  Of course last time CL played in New Hampshire in the winter it was our infamous ice storm of 2008 - no electricity for a week in the area, they stayed in a power-less motel that night!

    The gig in NYC was FAN-freaking-TASTIC!  Short set since they were opening for SK6ERS (who I didn't stay for... I know, I know... bad music fan but I was tired after coming back into town from Thanksgiving).  I <3 Barry! "Lake of Silver Bells" has been stuck in my head since!
