Two weekends ago I saw the Australian Pink Floyd Show in Hartford CT, it is what it sounds like, a cover band from australia that plays Pink Floyd. After all who does not like Pink Floyd? The show was realy great, decent light show and video presentation of weird animation during the music. The music was played to near perfection, and there is alot of material I was not that familiar with. A friend of mine donated to CT Public TV and the tickets were a premium because of how much he donated. We had seats stage left about 6 rows back, what I noticed though was the face value on the tickets was just $44, I paid $55 and sat in the balcony last time I saw GBS. So if the pricing is like that at all the venues I would say the Australian Pink Floyd Show is an amazing entertainment value. Two Flying Pigs Way Up! I say go if you get a chance!
and if the band you're in starts playing different tunes, I'll see you on the dark side of the moon.
