I have to say, this is the hardest World Series for me...  I'm a Mets fan.  I can't stand either team!

As a Yankee fan I will say the Mets can win every game they ever play that is not against the Yankees. I hate the fact they (The New York Metropolitans) have had such a bad decade, or generation. You must learn to love Big Brother!

AND HOW COULD YOU EVER THINK OF ROOTING FOR THE  FOR THE PHILONIUS PHILLIES!? (I know they are a dangerous club, but I like our chances!)

I should reword my previous statement.  I don't hate the teams. I especially don't hate on baseball fans regardless of their team choice.  Both the Yanks and the Phils happen to be my home team rivals (on field for the Phils and in NYC for the Yanks).  It makes it hard to pick a favorite when your choices are teams you root so hard against during the regular season.

I've been a Mets fan since I was 11 years old.  I've seen them through the 90s when they were last place (before the Nationals existed). I sat at the edge of my seat during every steroid-induced fight.  (I heart Todd Hundley.)  I went to more than one playoff game a couple years ago (and spent more money than I had on baseball).  My blood runs orange and blue. I am proud to call myself a Mets fan... Even when they suck. :-D

Hey John, I would take you up on your offer to Anne (and I hope me as well), but I really don't think you want me doing anything close to betting on this series, the first year of interleauge play I bet my grandad that the Yanks would win against the Phils (hey what can I say, I was rebelling) and the Phils swept the entire series....so if you want me to...... can't wait to sit down before the next show with you and Anne and rehash the games, no matter what the outcome.
