 Your pics are awesome!!!  Pic "37 of 51" on picasa is my favorite :)  I can't wait until they come back this way, I miss them so much already!!  At least I have my tunes to help pass the time until my fav boys come back to the midwest :)

Thanks guys :-) My son LOVED the show. I've been a GBS fan forever and ever and ever, so it was really special to finally have the opportunity to get him to an all ages venue. What memories, taking me back to being a college student at my first GBS show in Vancouver and now here I am at 34 with my 5 year old son watching them in Bloomington IL of all places! It was actually kind of emotional, and surreal at the same time. We'll be trying to hit more of their dates the next time they come this way, instead of just the one show. I'm an addict! Hadn't seen them live in 7 1/2 years (when we lived in Washington DC, but then moved to the UK for a number of years) and now I feel like I already need another "fix"  :-)

Alex -- do we really have another GBS fan as close by as Sherman? Very cool! I wouldn't actually have guessed that a single other person in the Springfield area "understood" my GBS obsession, but there you are. My son goes to school at the Montessori up that way. Nice to meet you. We'll have to get a Great Big Carpool organized when they next come this way!

Alex is actually my husband, but I am on here a little more than he is (yes, a little obsessed myself...).  My name is Jen - nice to meet you :)

Alex is who introduced me to GBS, and actually he just accidentally came across them on YouTube.  I remember when he had me listen to my first GBS song - it was The Mermaid Song!!!  I remember thinking, "What?!?"  LOL

 We went to our first concert in March of this year up in Chicago at House of Blues.  It was fun, but we were a little too close to the speakers for me to truly appreciate their talent.  I started really listening to their music after that concert.  Alex made me a few CD's for the car and I listen to them constantly - I knew more of their songs at the Bloomington concert than he did! :)

 It's so cool to know someone in Springfield is as wild about GBS as I am - I am totally up for a Great Big Carpool the next time they come this way also :)
