Anyone know if there are plans for a Ship & Dip cruise next year? Info. on the website is woefully old and developments with BNL of late make me think it's not likely. Does anyone know otherwise?

I think the boys should book the ship themselves and invite Spirit of the West, 54-40, The Trews, and Sloan (they sailed last year and were great).  I am sure that the boat would be full. 

And Gaelic Storm and the Saw Doctors and leave from NY.  :)

I think BNL was taking a least a year off from the cruise, at least thats what I remember hearing. The other cruises, Rock Boat, Simple Man ect are still going on. Probably 2011, maybe by then I will be out of debt and able to afford it!!!!!! ..............Hey Betty, I saw Gaelic Storm up in Syracuse a couple of weeks back and they as always were great...see you at Westhampton!!!!!!!

OK. I'm glad I haven't missed something. I assume we'll read about it here if the boys plan any such winter fun. If they're in the studio working on record 10, they may not have time to come up for air. The cruises sound like such fun though ... we'll keep our fingers crossed.

just so's you know ...BNL is over now...no chance of any cruises for them

They're not "over", just different... the 4 are carrying on, and last I heard, were in studio working on a new CD.

The new BNL album is coming out this winter. They've been in studio recording all summer and its sounding pretty good - so no worries. There is a tentative 2011 Ships N' Dip.

 And for sure BNL is not "over" lol. They're a four piece, and Steve is off doing his own thing (I saw him last Friday at the Niagara Wine Fest -- AWESOME) and still making music.

I'd love to catch the next ship that has GBS, but as of last night, I am going on a cruise Jan 2010... they ain't cheap, so we'll have to see where my $ is at, lol!

2011?!? Good grief! At least they're contemplating it though. I hope BNL hits it out of the park with their next record. All the better for them and Great Big Sea to have new material before the next cruise. But, heck, that seems so far away ... no excuse to miss it or not save for it though. I've not done one yet, but it looks like so much fun.
