 Eastport is beautiful.  close to terra Nova Park & has sandy beaches.  They will have accommodations available - (I heard thr the winterset people last week. 

BTW - their first time for this - they also have an accordian festival & winterset in summer - big literary fest every yr.

Yes, go! Eastport is beautiful! Bring your bathing suit and go to the beach there or go to Sandy Cove. Wow, that is great! I wish I were there! *sniff*

The good thing is that it will be annual.  Now, Bob may not be annual - but y'know all 3 NL members are big fans of the songbook. 

 BTW, here's the link for winterset in summer - http://www.wintersetinsummer.ca/  It's actually on this weekend - same weekend at NF Folk festival.  Look on the website - any of the 3 shortlisted books over the years arer wonderful reading about NL.  These guys are great also in helping with accommodations.  A lot of people travel to eastport for holidays & my brothers family can't say enough good about Pine Tree Lodge Traytown Eastport http://www.pinetreelodge.ca/
