My husband got through at exactly 10 AM ( I had a doctor's appt for exactly that time, so had to trust hubby), which is the time listed on my ticket order confirmation, so hope we real close too. We were at the Portsmouth Music Hall last time they played there, and were in the very front row!! Was also in the front row at Keene, NH last October, so we are totally spoiled now.

when you purchase seats from GBS.com, how do you know which seats you got?  Do you have to wait until you pick them up?

In about three weeks you'll get your seat assignment e-mailed to you.

I was way up on the left side, around row 20-23 (not presale tickets), last time in Portsmouth, and it was still a good view.

Last pre-sale I found out that if it doesn't get through after a few seconds, you probably need to get off the site and then re-try.   There were not a lot of tickets, assuming they had all of the first 10 rows, that's 131 seats.

First time presaler here and I still dont understnad how it works. In 3 weeks I get the tickets? Or in 3 weeks I get an email that tells me where my seats are? If that's it then when do the tickets come? Did I do the right thing by getting tickets now even tho its a blind pick or should I have waited till they go up for public sale and I can see what I'm getting?  Sorry so many questions it's just sorta confusing.

For the Portsmouth show, you will pick up the tickets at the Will Call window at the hall.  If you look through some of the older threads here you will see that at many venues the 'pre-sales' are a crapshoot.  It all depends on who handles the public sales for the venue.  If its Ticketbastard, then pre-sale tickets may not be the best ones.  For Portsmouth, the venue handles sales, so last year, the pre-sales WERE the best ones.

Hey thanks!  I didn't notice the tickets are will call.  So now we just wait till we hear where the seats are. I can do that.

I went to the last show GBS had in this same venue. I think it was April 2007. Anyway, I got my tickets through the presale, as soon as it started. And ended up front row center, so definitely got the best seats in the house. BTW, at this venue, the "Z" row is the front row, so dont' freak out and think you are in the back somewhere if you get Z (or ZZ, which I think is actually what I got).

Got my seat assignments today.  Row F.  Good......... but last show at the music hall I was in the front row.

Can't wait to see the boys! October can't come soon enough.

YIPEE!!! I just got my seat assignment. Row Z, which is FRONT ROW CENTER! Same as last time at this venue, in April 2007. Now, I just need to worry if I will be recovered enough from my knee surgery next month to participate in the "vertical movement". THANK YOU Dear Hubby, for having such fast fingers for the presale, when I could not do it myself due to a doctor's appointment. This will be our 5th GBS show, and our first as husband and wife.
