I guess this is also my first post in the community. I'm from Saskatchewan and am heading to St. John's and surrounding area for 10 days (June 20-30). I am wondering if there is anything special going on during this time and must do things in Newfoundland.

This is my first time visiting the rock and I am really excited. I lived in Nova Scotia for 5 years back in the 90's but never made it to Newfoundland.

 Any help would be great! I am super pumped to go!

 I'll probably post pictures of the trip when I get home.

I was listening to Radio Newfoundland this morning and they mentioned St. John's Days.
