    Seattle Show

I also am dismayed that I can't view a seating chart for The Moore Theatre in Seattle.  It says the tickets are in rows AA-N, but that's can't possibly mean they're general admission can it?  I'd hate to have to beat up somebody to get good seats.  Only joking.  Well, sort of..... ha! ha!

I am so excited they're coming to Seattle again.  I was scanning the list of venues, thinking that if they only go to Vancouver I'm taking time off to drive up.  Imagine me jumping around (in my mind) when I saw they're coming back to Seattle.  This will be my fifth GBS show.  If there was the equivalent of a "dead head" for the guys, I would be one!  I keep converting people.  This concert will be me, my boyfriend (at 53 years old can I still use that word?), my son, and his boyfriend.  Yahoo!

Me, again.  I'm going to try to not jump to conclusions about the tickets.  The show isn't even listed on The Moore Theatre's web site yet.  And, hey, since I'm at work they might appreciate it if I actually did some work.......  I'm bobbing in the Sea of No Cares right now.  <smile>

You know you can buy tickets through the GBD website, don't you? Just click on the Seattle "buy tickets online" and it will walk you through it. I was buying tickets at 10:30:01 this morning- assuming early ticket sale= good seat! I'd say I'm a GBS-head too- can't wait!

I got my tickets two minutes after the pre-sale site opened up yesterday. :-) Thanks.

I don't believe that this is intended to be a GA show because they give specific row number that are available in the presale as opposed to just stating it's GA.

Rows AA & CC are "orchestra pit seating" which means they bring in folding chairs and stick them in front of the front row of permanent seats.  So AA is going to be right at the stage, CC is row 2, A is the first row of the standard (relatively) comfy theater seats.  You can view a seating chart for the Moore here http://www.themoore.com/patron/seating-charts.asp  I've seen a couple shows at the Moore, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

We had fabulous seats the last time they were at The Moore, so I hope we have similar seats this year. I think we were in about the fifth row. See ya there!

    Re: Seattle Show

Did you guys notice the band has a few days off before our show?  So they will be rested,  That's nice.  It would be fun to get in touch closer to the show and meet up if people want to.  Any good restaurants near the Moore?
    Peace, Ann

    Re: Seattle Show

I was reading the home page this morning and noticed that they are doing a pre-sale for another show on October 1st, is the Seattle show being canceled or is that a mistake or did I read it wrong.

    Just wondering

    Re: Seattle Show

So glad you'll be coming down for the show!  Will Jane be coming, too?

Yes, it will be nice to be able to relax before the show instead of standing in line.  I'm pretty sure there's a pub right across the street from the Moore, which would be convenient.  And of course Kell's is only a few blocks away, although we'll probably want to hit them up after the show...remember our absolutely obscene version of "Seven Drunken Nights" last time? embarrased

Looking forward to the whole thing!

    Cheers!

    Re: Seattle Show

Regarding my question above, it must have been a mistake because that show (that I can't remember that location of) is playing on October 5.
