You momentarily consider buying a pickup truck after learning that the license place GR8BIGC is already taken for a car in your state (but the dept. of motor vehicles says it's available for a truck). Not a practical thing with middle-schoolers and their friends to haul to soccer practice, a nearly 3-year-old who tags along and a golden retriever .... still, who HAS that plate in Vermont anyway? Must be someone on the north or south border somewhere. If it was anywhere from Burlington to Montpelier, I would have seen them (or someone who knows me would have and I'd know about it!)

Could that person be here? Might they be moving anytime soon and giving up their plate? One can only hope ...
