I like free! I wouldn't be going if GBS wasn't there (I'd be going to Ireland!). As far as I'm concerned, only GBS fans should be allowed to embark. Maybe next year we can downsize and hop aboard Lukey's boat instead.

Now, let me just wrap my head around something here.....you have a 7 year old, and one old enough to tell you about drinking exploits?  Last year I remember people advertising that they would buy your BNL show tickets, as they wanted to go to all of the shows, and I declined

A 7 y/r, a 23 y/o and an 18 y/o! That's what happens when you get married a second time and have a baby at 39!  My older two grew up on GBS and the lil one sings Donkey riding IN HIS SLEEP.  I may just sell my BNL tix... Something to ponder. Honestly, I like BNL and have seen them at least 4 times,  Even had a good conversation with Ed backstage about hockey 10 years ago as evidenced in this pic -->

The centre balcony seating isn't an actual overhanging balcony--it's raked floor seating in the back of the theatre. So, if you want central seating try the zones on the floor first!

Just convinced hubby to let me go with a friend! I go through phases of thinking that I'm dreaming, and phases where I'm squealing in delight in my head (hubby might think I'm insane... and I don't want to rub it in that I'm going on a cruise without him!). SO EXCITED!!!!

Make sure as you're keeping your eyes peeled for those seat sales that you book a flight that arrives at least one day early, since you're flying in from Winterpeg. I've read on the S&D forum that others from snowy Manitundra actually fly in two days early because of slow travel and weather delays in the middle of winter.

Most people arrive at least a day early I think. We didn't do that last year (and I don't know WHAT I was thinking when I booked the flight!) but I had a bit of anxiety leading up to our touch down in Miami.

I'm here to help.

At this point, we are planning on driving down from Manitoba. We live about 1 hour southwest of Winterpeg, so we'll see what happens between now and then. My husband is a truckdriver, so he drives for a living, and we should be ok. We are planning on leaving sometime on Thursday. We should arrive in Miami sometime on Saturday. Those are the plans for now, who knows what might change between now and then.

Myself, my sister and our two best girlfriends booked a cabin together.....none of us can believe this is actually happening!!!!!!!!!!!! Gonna be the trip of a lifetime!

Definitely keeping an eye out for seat sales!! $800 is just too much for a flight, in my opinion. And I'm definitely planning to be there a day early, you never know what the weather is going to do in Manitundra (good one! I'd never heard that before!) in the winter. Plus having a day to wander around Miami is nothing to sneeze at. Still excited!!!

My cabin mates from the last cruise enjoyed their time in Miami the day before the cruise, but they did give me a piece of advice..... If you are offered a free bottle of wine to come in and dine at a restaurant, you might want to turn it down, they ended up staring at prices somewhere out in the stratosphere on the menu!  They had already started drinking the wine, so I think they paid for the bottle, and left.  Either way you end up paying for the wine!  I think Miami could be a great place to sight see, and do a little window shopping, but I'll leave the wine thank you very much, lol!

I do remember meeting you too.  The coffee bar was what got me through the day, followed by a Bloody Mary!  I introduced my husband to expresso.  I'll never forget his face when I brought him this tiny cup of coffee!  He's a believer now.
