Been to Perth a few times, went to high school in Pembroke and lived in Beachburg.  Yep, middle of nowhere describes it pretty much.

Hi to all ! I would like to intro myself as a new fan that has gotten hooked on the first gbs notes I heard.

This seems like a fun place with alot of good people (from the posts I've read) . Oh and lol,  please have patience for I have no clue how to navigate thru these boards.

I used to hail from Bucks county, just north of Philly, but have been out west now for 17 yrs.  I love the Poconos, esp at this time of year! 

GBS has a way of getting people hooked, right from the first note...but just wait till you go to see them LIVE!  Then all hope is lost!  They put on such a lively, energetic, fun-loving show - with all that great music as the soundtrack!  There is nothing like it!

Until you can go to a show, This is where you want to be....there's several thousand people in the online Kitchen and there's always room for more!

Nice to have another PA fan on the boards. How far up the Northeast Extension are you? I have been known to travel up that way on the way to Massachusetts to see the b'ys. If you ever need a ride...no problem.

Thank you both Helen and Anne I reside specifically in Stroudsburg if that helps, for good or for bad I am writing this after visiting the bars(aka pubs in my area) so i hope i am making sence . It is good to relate to those in the region or at leat those who remember what the region is like.

Your puppy is cute. What kind of pup? Mine is a Soft-Coated Wheaton Terrier (mostly) whose name is Fozzie (after the muppet). I do know where Stroudsburg is, been there a couple times myself. Again welcome and you make perfect sense.
