Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
Okay - I was just examining the "new" GBS site and came across some edited biographies. I nver knew so many new things about the b'ys! If you haven't read the new bios, check them out. Here's an interesting bit from Bob's - "Over the years, he has written several text books for adolescents under a pseudonym, two of which have sold over 50,000 copies each. He has also written several music business instructional pieces for the Canadian government." Anne
And when the winds of change begin to blow, I'll whisper, "You're my lighthouse" in case you didn't know. Sons of Maxwell visit my website!: Anne's Philly Phan Site at http://www.gbsfanatic.com

There's a fun game: What would be a good pseudonym for Bob? And what's his alter-ego like?: Señor Febrero escribió muchos libros de música y (¿inglés? No sé) sobre los años mientras que estaba pluriempleado como modelo masculino desnudo. Do you suppose he's responsible for this book? (one I used my 2nd semester of college)

Just spell the names backwards and you have their alter egos. For example, I am "an it" although if spelled correctly it would read "an imp"(...lets face it, however, Tina works better than Pmina). Alan'a alter ego is nalA -- gypsy, rogue lion, relentless explorer Sean's is naeS -- mythic merman from depths of Atlantis Bob, either way, is still and always boB.

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
I thought about boB when I was writing that (sorry about the Spanish - I've let myself get way too rusty) and figured someone would bring him up! I hoped Chiara could think of some good ones, since my creativity center is refusing to work during finals' week at college. (Let's not forget about haraSxobezeeuqS, who used to post lusty BobThoughts under my screen name. Haven't seen her in a long time... wonder where she went off to?)

She, narF, arucsariahC, bynneJzB have been seen using our screen names to post all kinds of lusty thoughts on twitter.

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
I think I've discovered Bob's alter ego. PS - can I say this, coding the page so the hyperlinks appear as regular text was NOT the best idea the webmasters ever had. It forces me to say things like "The words "Bob's alter ego" are clickable." Instead of just letting the underscoring or different text color speak for itself. Harrumph.

I think I need to clean out my brain with a pipe cleaner now. Not the mental image I need of Bob.

The last time I included a link in one of my posts I changed the color and underlined it myself. (I think... I don't feel like looking for the post right now.)

Fran: squeezeboxsarah:I had really hoped to start a Steamy BobPic Fight in this thread, but alas, I have failed. Where the heck are all the randy Bobites???
They've been converted over to the Seanside. Bwahahaha.
Well I converted the other way round I have to admit... *hehe* So here's another Bobite reporting for duty. :D Cheers

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
BWAHAHAHA to you, Fran!!! You may have converted Horatia, but we have added Corina to our Army! *resistance is futile* *tremble before The Stern Look* (I can be a bodhranista without abandoning the Bobite way of life, correct (like I need to ask)? Because my parents aren't home, and when they're away is the only time I can play my beloved Vignoles... and yet here I am, frittering away these precious minutes by tap-tap-tappity-tapping on this computer keyboard... Sometimes I sicken myself...)

Re: If Bob Fans are called Bobites ...
Hello, Bobites! I am really a subject of the Kingdom of Doyle first and foremost, but I'm not AT ALL immune to Bob's charms and talent! In fact, I heartily agree with what Alan and Sean were saying on C&P&G: "What do bands do that don't have Bob in them? Poor, poor Bob-less bands - they must suck!" Couldn't have said it better myself!
