The GreatBigSea.com Store presale for the new album, Fortune's Favour, starts tomorrow, May 9, at 12pm EDT.

The album comes out June 24 and if you order it by June 10, you will receive it on or around the release date. You can still pre-order after that, but we cannot guarantee a release date arrival.

It certainly seems like a long ways away to receive your CD, but we've got something to make the wait more enjoyable. Packaged with the CD is a download bundle that you'll receive shortly after placing your order. You can enjoy "Walk On The Moon" and two GBS.com exclusives "Belong (A cappella)" and "Gallow's Pole" while you wait for Fortune's Favour to land on your doorstep.

After placing your order, you will receive your order confirmation and then a second e-mail which will contain the link you need to download the bundle.

This offer sounds awesome.

It does mean, though, that I'll have to give up the experience of walking into the store on release day, seeing all the copies of the new CDs, and picking one up and heading to the cashier while already beginning to peel off the shrink wrap. Or, walking into the store, NOT seeing all the copies of the new CDs in stock and asking where they are, only to be told they're sitting in the stock room not unpacked yet, and then getting back into the car to go to a store that DOES have them unpacked. This has happened.) Sounds silly, I guess, but I do like to do it that way.

HOWEVER, I'd definitely say this is a worthy trade off! Looking forward to tomorrow.

Boy, Fridays around here sure are turning out to be something to really look forward to.

What format will the music in the download bundle be in? Will I be able to transfer the songs to my iPod and iTunes, or will there be digital rights management issues that prevent that?

Will the songs be made available at GBS.com in any way other than the presale bundle? I imagine that there will be lots of people who discover the CD at shows who would like the opportunity to buy these tracks.

The songs are 128kbps MP3, you will be able to add them to your iPod and iTunes. The bonus tracks are exclusive to the GBS.com presale.  

I just got mine, I don't like that the MP3s are only 128 kbps but thanks to GBS for the bonus tracks!!!

I got the email about the music download but I can't click the link.  My mouse hovers over it and it must notice it's some sort of link as the curser changes to the typing thing that looks like an I (eye)... hmm?    I'm pretty good with computers so it's not just me, lol.

Got my preorder in, downloading the presale bundle as I type this!!  Very cool!!!!

I'm having the same problem.  The link doesn't work for me either.

Have you tried right or ctrl clicking the link to copy the URL and pasting into a browser?
