COLUMBINE!!!!!! You may say you're named after a dragon, but you're an angel in disguise! Your box of bead-iful booty welcomed me home yesterday after a long day at work- last week of school....Argh! The beautiful card, the heaps of beads were such a great surprise, and truly brought joy to my day...and that's what the exchange is about, no? 2 more days of school, and I'll get going on some beading projects, but in the meantime , I'll enjoy the good feelings my friend (who I've never met) has sent me across the continent! You're a goddess!!!

My gift is proving more difficult to find than I thought it would.  My giftee is a person very dear to me, I want to find just the RIGHT thing.  I don't know what it is yet, but I'm sure it will introduce itself to me when I stumble across it.  It's just a matter of getting time to poke my head into something other than the grocery store.  I hope to find time this week to wander up Spring Garden Road and/or through the Historic Properties in Halifax and see if it's hiding anywhere along there.  I've been both places recently, but with a group of people-too noisy to hear the "here I am!"  Managed to get some alone time in the shops on Fishermans Wharf in Eastern Passage, but it wasn't there.  It wasn't in the Catholic bookstore in Halifax either...searching, searching...

My shopping is now complete it was a long hard search for something hopefully surprisingly pleasing, Now to get it packaged up and into the mail! Don't worry my little snowflake it won't be much longer you have to  anticipate the outcome.

Alas!  For a number of personal reasons I chose not to participate this year (for the first time in more years than there are fingers on my hand).  I am regretting the decision!  I miss the fun of searching for that something special for someone special.  I hope everyone has a grand time with this!
