Hello to all,

just found this wonderful message board on this fine new website

I live in Luebeck in northern Germany (near Hamburg) and I am a 38 year old GBS fan since a few months.
I have seen and heard GBS the first time last year at Runrig's Beat-the-drum festival in scotland (I'm a big Runrig-fan since about 10 years now )

About 2 months ago I saw the first time the 'Great Big' dvd and also the 'Courage and Patience and Grit' dvd (thanks to Sona  and now I'm 'infected' - they are really great, so much power and fun with this great music on stage - GREAT

I really hope to see GBS in Germany one day, maybe someone who plans their tours reads this?

Welcome to the OKP Nicole! You were at Loch Ness? Apparently you survived the weather ...  I saw GBS in London a few days later - that was wet as well, but because of the overstrained aircondition system!

Lübeck and the whole area is very very nice by the way ... so beware you guys up north, we might come and visit! I picture us five having a beer at the harbour of Travemünde with a view to the "Passat"!

Welcome Aboard, Smurfyn!

I love your name!  I had a cat named Smurph in 1980 - yes, I named it after The Smurfs, but before they ever came to America!  ( so I didn't know how to spell Smurf!) I had a friend from Sweden who told me about them!  lol So when i see "Smurf" I thnk of an old friend and my first cat!  Its a good thing!

It is awesome that there are more fans joining the OKP from Europe and that you guys are all able to get together.  Now all you need is a band to play for you!  Got any ideas?
