In our house we have one Gluten free and one egg free. Plus they are kids so my hardest challenge is finding fun food for parties and the like when other kids are eating cake. Couscous just doesn't compare to chocolate cake in a nine year old boys mind. Since we have found that changing food with Gluten and egg doesn't taste as good as just finding different food here is our no food colouring, Gluten, egg or yeast dessert.
Lemon Sorbet
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Water
6 Lemons juiced
6 drops Lemon Essential oil (optional)
Boil the water and sugar to make a simple syrup. Let cool overnight in fridge. Mix in Lemon juice and oil and freeze, take it out and stir or break up every couple of hours or put it in an ice cream maker.
