Tickle Cove Pond incident in Wisconsin

I haven't been on here in forever but when I saw this, I figured GBS fans might appreciate it. The very first thing I thought of when I saw it was "Tickle Cove Pond"... even the horse's name is almost right. This happened about halfway between Madison and Milwaukee.

YAY!  "Katie" was alright!  As Alan mentioned inan intro, this does seem to happen more often than one would think!

I found it amusing that the horse's name is Katie which is pretty much the same as 'Kit'!

What a beautiful horse!  If I were a horse, I'd be Katie!  (Well, hopefully not quite as careless...)

3rd cousin twice removed? Kit got all the brains because apparently Katie didn't look before she leaped. Wink

I guess it is that time of the year again when all sorts of critters start falling through the ice,

    horses

    moose

    deer

    dogs

    escaped zoo animals

    people

I guess it is one of the dangers of spring in this part of the world where the water freezes in the winter, it takes us awhile to remember that it always does thaw out!

Everyone likes to have something to do, can you find the spelling errors in my post?
